KITCHEN TRANSFORMATION
Compstall, Marple
A dark and dated cottage kitchen transformed into a bright, traditional space with bespoke storage, a beautiful under stairs coffee station and a redesigned utility room, making the most of every inch.
THE BRIEF
Having recently moved into their cottage in Marple Bridge, our customers wanted to transform their dark, dated kitchen into a bright, airy and welcoming space that complemented the character of their home.
The existing kitchen had dark wooden cabinetry, black granite worktops and limited practical storage, with valuable space being wasted behind the units. Their priority was to create a traditional, homely kitchen that made the most of every available inch.
THE TRANSFORMATION
We completely redesigned the kitchen, introducing bespoke corner units to maximise storage and full-height wall cabinetry extending down to the worktops, making everyday essentials easier to reach.
An unused space beneath the stairs was transformed into a cosy coffee station, complete with additional worktop space, wine storage and a tall cupboard for household essentials.
We also renovated the utility room, creating space for the washing machine and tumble dryer side by side, additional cabinetry, more worktop space and even a little seating area for the grandchildren.
Working with our trusted trades, we coordinated the electrical work, plumbing and plastering alongside the installation, bringing the whole transformation together.
