Compstall, Marple
Our customers came to having having not long moved into their new cottage in Marple Bridge.
The kitchen was dark, with dark wooden doors, black granite and not to mention the lovely blue extractor.
The storage was also less than acceptable, with gaps everywhere behind the units, meaning alot of wasted space.
Our brief was traditional, bright, airy and homely.
The kitchen now isnt recognisable. We ripped everything out, added completely bespoke corner units so that all the space was maximised. We made the wall units full height from the worktop so that our customer could actually use them, as before they were impossible to reach.
We also ripped out under the stairs, to create a gorgeous cosy space, with a tall unit for things like hoover, mop and ironing board. Plenty if storage (including the wine of course) and a great little worktop space to make your morning coffee.
In the utility room, our customer again wanted it brightening up, with more storage and work surface. We created a space for the washing machine and dryer to be side by side with a small cupboard in between. Then added some wall units for that extra bit of storage. We even added a great little seating area for the grankids to sit at.
We project managed this renovation from start to finish, including all electrics, plastering, plumbing and of course installation.
We are so happy with how this renovation has transformed this beautiful cottage. It fits the brief perfectly!
