Kitchen Renovation, Swift Bank, Simmondley
We first met Sam & Paul after they spotted our van on the motorway. They’d been looking to renovate their kitchen for a while and had already consulted with various other companies.
Our brief for this project was; Party Kitchen. Sam & Paul openly admitted they didn’t want the kitchen to cook in all the time, they wanted a kitchen to entertain in, show off to their friends and they more importantly wanted a room they would want to be in all the time.
We spent a lot of time talking through their ideas (and sometimes mediating disagreements, ha!). Sara designed their kitchen to exactly what they wanted, we listened and we delivered and they were ecstatic. Previous companies tried to push their own ideas onto Sam & Paul, but we didn’t, and they were so happy with Sara’s first design that there was only a few minor tweaks before it was perfect!
We project managed the renovation from start to finish. We took down the dividing wall between the kitchen and unused dining room. Installed a beam support and rewired, plumbed and plastered the entire room. Now we had a much bigger space to transform, we moved all the amenities around to suit the design.
The customer wanted a statement kitchen, and didn’t they get it! The mix of the dark units and light walls, floors and worktop look absolutely stunning. Add in a touch of wood to finish it off completely.
We completely the look with a bespoke seating bench around the bay window, with added extra storage.
